Welcome to Holton Players

The Holton Players were founded in 1991 and have presented numerous plays since then, normally one in the Spring and one in the Autumn each year. The body of work presented includes plays written both by local authors alongside those of the major playwrights. Recent productions have included works by Ayckbourn, Rattigan,Maugham and Wilde.

Most of the productions and rehearsals take place at the Holton Village Hall where the players keep their store of staging and lighting equipment as well as their props and costumes.

The players are run by an active committee which is elected each year at the AGM. The players have a talented pool of actors and crew to call upon, but always welcome new blood. Anybody interested in joining the players’ ranks will be warmly welcomed and the Chairman or any member of the committee will be delighted to hear from them.
